Bud Wilson, and The Edge CoffeeHouse, want to welcome people of any and
 all faith traditions as well as those with no faith to join with us in an open and
affirming adventure into the Sacred Mystery we call God, Allah, Great Spirit,
“God of my understanding” etc hereafter to be referred to as "THE POWER,"
We will each have the opportunity to share our belief, faith, and life experience
in relationship to this Mystery, and if we can open our hearts and minds to the
other, perhaps can have a new and transforming experience with "The Power"
and each other.

I hope we can draw a radically diverse group crossing all lines we draw to separate
 ourselves from the other. Young and old, rich and poor, monotheist, polytheists,
atheists, all races, religious affiliations, genders, and sexual orientations, are not
only welcomed, but affirmed as valuable contributors to our discourse. 

I envision a setting where we each can be challenged deeply at the core of our
personal beliefs and by interacting with one another with mutual respect grow
deeper and stronger in our personal relationship with God, and with each other.
There will almost certainly be some discomfort as we begin. It may never be really
comfortable, but it will be an adventure. And if it did become comfortable it will
probably be a sign that we need to go deeper if we want to continue to be transformed.

I will facilitate the first sessions. And as you become a part of, you will have the
opportunity to facilitate sessions also. There will be as few as necessary ground
rules for our sessions designed to maintain an atmosphere that is conducive  to
open and affirming of all persons, and honoring the dignity of each one.

Our discourse will remain civil, even in times of disagreement.
No idea, concept, belief, or language will be off limits.
We will respect who is speaking by listening and not interrupting.
We will not call each other names.
